February :

We are participating in a song contest with a lot of other schools. We
chose a name for our group: Revolution Crew. Then, we chose a song
too, Good Time by Carle Rae Jepsen and Owl City, we changed the lyrics
and after we made another with school skills. We were very exciting
with this activity. In fact, we paint a white T-shirt with a lot of colours
to make a poster. Now we are preparing a video to record it singing
the song, because in May we have to go to a place to show our video
dancing the song in front of a lot of other schools. We are waiting with
enthusiasm this day!

January :

At the beginning, we made a power point about the Charles Dickens’s life and we chosen a story wrote by him. 

We did scared stories, taking the idea of Charles Dickens. For example:

A beautiful lady by Sofia Rins, Joanna Garcia and Judith Sola:

There was a beautiful woman called Carla. She lived near a train station. In the city there aren’t buses; people said that this city was haunted. They said there are ghosts and that night the ghosts claps their hands and scared everybody. But Carla wasn’t afraid. She liked communicating with them, with the spirits. Everyone I knew said that Carla was a strange girl. One day, Carla woke up in the morning very pale and cold. She had become a ghost after she died.

We worked Edgar Allan Poe too, we watched a film called Ligeia, and after, we read the real story about the film. And we made a film review, for example:

The film “The Tomb of Ligeia” is an adaptation of the book “Ligeia” wrote by Edgar Allan Poe. This is a bad adaptation of the real story, it’s very old too. The film has new elements that the film’s director has treated and the book speaks about the story of Ligeia better than the film.

In conclusion the film isn’t recommended, if you want kwon the interesting story of Ligeia, you must read the book.
